Are you not receiving Ask A Citizen emails?

If you are not receiving emails from us these are probably being filtered out as spam by your email provider. Spam filters are getting more aggressive and the result is that some wanted emails will be filtered too. If you have a 'Bulk', 'Junk' or 'Spam' folder for your e-mail account, check there for any missing emails.

How do I set my email not to block Ask A Citizen emails?

Different email providers have different ways to set this, but if you look around in your account management area, you should be able to find choices to customize your spam filter settings. A sure way to receive emails is to add noreply@askacitizen.com and info@askacitizen.com to your address book.

What is AskACitizen?

AskACitizen.com is a place where you ask questions to citizens from others countries.

How does it Work?

People can ask questions to others countries by a simple form. AskACitizen will send this questions to the registrated citizens of that country. We will notify you by email as soon as you receive an answer.

How can I view a different country?

There's a link on the homepage "other country" in right column.

How does it work?

You will find a list of coutries in a dropdownmenu on the homepage. There you can select a country and submit your question. You have to sign-up to ask questions.

Who can ask a question?

You and anybody, anywhere in the world.

Is this a free service?

Yes

Who will answer my question?

Questions are asked to citizens in a specific coutry. People who are citizens of that country will answer. That doesn't always mean that they have to live there.

Why should I trust the answer of one person?

Don't. But the nice thing about AskACitizens is that more than one person can answer your question and rate them. The more people give or support an answer the more reliable it gets.

My country is not in the list?

That means that there are no registered citizens of that country. Maybe you can be the first?

Once I submit my question, can I still edit or delete it?

Edit no. Delete yes.

What if my question doesn't receive any answers?

AskACitizen has to grow. You question can verywell be answed in the future by new members. We are working on that.

How will I know when my question has been answered?

With every new answer submitted you will receive an email.
